Bread and butter.

Where I come from, “bread and butter” means reliable and typically the best of what you have. Here is where i’ll showcase exactly that.

The Toga

Toga parties are an iconic part of the american college experience, This photo taken on Portra 800 of a Toga party looks almost painting like and is a beautiful representation of the college experience.

The moontower

The Moontower’s of Austin. What started out as a innovative way to light up the young city’s streets became a testament to keeping Austin weird. Scene here in the mid day sun, it reminds me of a past that is more like the present than often thought.

Thai Kun

I am going to be honest, I have walked past this restaurant in the bar district of the domain probably 100 times and never once stepped inside. It outward appearance has always delighted me as an interesting fusion of painted wall art and a neon sign.

North of lady bird lake

I took this around a hundred meters from the north shore of Lady Bird Lake. I have walked that path many times back in my days as a writer in Austin. I usually parked my car nearby so it was a place of calm as i knew my mission was almost complete.

Mission San Jose

I took this during Fiesta in 2023. Fiesta is one of my favorite times of year, the food is great, and all of San Antonio comes together to celebrate.

Inks lake State Park

I took this on a small hike near where i had camped with some friends, all i remember thinking is about how hot it was. This turned out to be one of my best photos from that trip.

Road to market

This was the best picture I had for a long time. In fact, it currently sits in my parents living room. I took it on a Farm to market road, we used to take to church. this old shed has since collapsed, but this picture brings back good memories of growing up.

Steve

I took this pic of my good friend Steven Thornton on my point and shoot at a party we had gone too, someone had just jumped into the pool givin the picture a snow effect.
